Welcome to Shade!

Shade's goal is to give you not only comfortable clothing but also fashionable clothing as well. Shade works for all events including going out, working out and just chilling.

Shade began this year, 2018, in Carlsbad, California with the idea of having a beachy vibe considering that Carlsbad can be called "surfer city." It definitely sticks with that because of the comfort and laid back style. On top of that the founder of Shade, Stephanie Souza, is not only a lover of the beach but also fitness so Shade branches out to all these areas.

The meaning behind the logo:

The main object in the picture is the sunglasses which have more than one significance. Stephanie Souza owned a significant amount of sunglasses so that collection and interest played a big role. Also there is a Christian meaning between the sunglasses ,wings, and cross. In Psalm 36:7 it says."How priceless is your unfailing love, O God! People take refuge in the shadow of your wings." So "shadow of your wings"correlates to the sunglasses and wings. So all of that then contributes to the name, Shade. Again the goal of the clothing is comfort and the other aspect to that is that we can be comforted that we are in the shadow of God's wings.
